Happy New Year’s

We wish everyone a wonderful and exciting new year. We can’t believe this is our fifth New Year’s celebration on the road (and we are still in Asia). To give you a short glimpse of our adventures in 2011, we’ve put together a video retrospective covering this year’s travels through Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.

Happy 2012! Happy New Year, TnT! It’s 2:30 a.m. of a new day in this new year! I loved the video recap, especially your animal viewing at Singapore Zoo, in the water and on land. Miss you guys, so much, and just wish I could beam across the ocean, sit close and hear your voices. Sending you best wishes and lots of love from our home sweet home… You guys seem to belong wherever you are in this amazing world! Keep up the great work!

    Hi Tony & Thomas !

What a wonderful dream you’re living ! Thanks for this beautiful clip. We think more & more seriously about a one-year trip, and this kind of pictures doesn’t help 😉

Each day we talk about travels, done or to be done. This summer, it’s my turn to chose 🙂 I hesitate between Malaysia… and Tanzania & Zanzibar. Quite different. We’ll see.
Kalimantan was a crazy time, especially the 4 days in jungle. We often think at the Punan we net, lonely in this huge forest… Even now it’s hard to think this was real.

And you ? Do you still want to come home this spring ?

We hope you’re doing well and wish you both a wonderful new year (enjoy, it’s maybe the end of the world end 2012… ;P )

Big kiss from Lausanne, Switzerland !

    Emilie & Romain

PS. the durian experience really seems a terrible one… We tried in Loksado (after our week in Derawan paradise), and it was indeed AWFUL… beurk !
