Apart from a little C-4, nothing. I seriously don't know what all the fuss was about.

Oh yeah, SSSS = Secondary Security Screening Selection. Read selection criteria here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secondary_Security_Screening_Selection

Wow, that's quite a story. So how much plastic explosives did you have on you?

Bye the way, what does the fourth "S" stand for?

I flew into Los Angeles from Central America last December. Instead of taking the train to San Diego, I decided to buy a plane ticket. On my way through security I learned that my boarding pass had been flagged "SSSS," which means "selected for secondary security." I was searched, questioned and everything I owned was taken apart and wiped down with cotton swabs which were then placed into a machine to detect illegal substances, explosives, etc. Welcome home!

Entering the U.S. scares me - and I'm a citizen! One time the guy grilled me for something like ten minutes and I kept asking myself, "Do I need this guy's permission to enter? I'm American."
