Africa certainly has a major problem with corruption which takes a terrible toll on the lives of Africans. But, by and large, we were able to avoid having to pay bribes and were often able to talk our way out of such situations.

In India, we have had people demanding bribes for even the smallest thing. Even here, we have managed to avoid bribing people by simply being more trouble than it is worth. But they have certainly tried.</description>
